After completing my national diploma in Graphic Arts, I took a year out working fulltime, six months of which was spent at the C.W.S headquarters in Manchester. I then entered the foundation course to explore a range of areas in art and ended up specialising in photography. Having started Electronic Media Design at Sunderland University in September 2000,
I chose to join the photography degree course for one of my modules, which confirmed my preference to pursue career in photography. I joined the HND Photography course at Newcastle College in January 2001, and have never looked back.
During my time at Newcastle College I have worked very hard to explore different areas of photography, and have found that I enjoy many aspects of the subject. I am looking to get as much experience as possible and to keep an open mind on where I am going in the future. As long as I carry on working hard and continue to have as strong an interest as I do know, I know that will succeed.
