At the moment I am shooting lots of still life and see myself in that field once I leave college. My style could probably be related to catalogue shots but with a twist using different lighting set ups, and am going more abstract, nothing crazy just different from what I am normally shooting. My inspirations come from people like Irving Penn and Louisa Parry they are two photographers, which seem to have a certain edge to their work, which is what I am trying to achieve.
Irving Penn because of the objects that he finds and shoots in black & white, plus some of his work for vogue, which shows how good a photographer he is.
I have only seen a few images from Louisa Parry but even from them she has inspired me and I have got a few good ideas from seeing her work.
